When Cassie finds out that she is pregnant, she runs off and goes to live with her grandmother. However, when Cassie’s grandmother discovers that she’s pregnant, she tells her that she must leave, because she’ll ruin her chances at having children. This causes Cassie to feel sad, and in turn, she starts to cry. To make matters worse, she realizes that she can’t stay away from her best friend, Tiffany, who is dating another boy.

In addition to starring both Mandy Moore and Nick Lachey, this musical also has an outstanding cast. The production of the musical has gone on to Broadway numerous times, including the musical’s current run at the August Wilson Theater.
